Visit hospice patients for companionship and emotional support. Volunteers may run errands, share activities, read, listen to music or whatever may bring joy and comfort to the patient and respite for the family caregivers.
Administrative volunteers work to assist staff in the office.
Animal therapy is another wonderful way to bring joy to a terminally ill patient. Dogs must be trained and certified.
Craft volunteers knit, crochet and make lap quilts for patients to be deliered by staff or other volunteers
