What does is mean to be a hospice volunteer?

Provide emotional support and practical assistance to hospice patients and their families, either as a Patient Care Volunteer or as an Administrative Volunteer.

Patient Care Volunteers can provide:

  • companionship
  • listening
  • caregiver respite
  • We give you the training and supplies you would use when visiting the patients.

Volunteering with hospice is a rewarding way to give back. Our patients are so appreciative of the time you give. Whatever your interests - visiting with patients, playing music, doing art projects, providing a break to caregivers, conducting a bible study or church service, we can match you with patients and facilities who have those needs.

Volunteering with Resolutions Hospice is VERY flexible! We provide training and all volunteer materials. We can work with any schedule. We have patients everywhere from Austin up to Taylor and down to Bastrop and Smithville. We will match you with patients close to you to minimize your drive time.
