Attend community events in order to raise awareness about James House and the services we offer. This position requires someone with an outgoing personality who is capable of interacting with all types of people. Representatives share the mission of James House with people in attendance and give out as much literature as possible to ensure our agency is on peoples mind should they encounter DV, SV, or stalking situations in their own lives, or so they may be able to recommend us if it should happen to someone they know.

James House provides free and confidential support, advocacy and education for people in the Tri-Cities area affected by sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking, to empower them to become healthy, safe and self-sufficient.
Description
VSDVA-accredited sexual and domestic violence crisis center serving the needs of women, children and men affected by interpersonal violence. Community advocacy, technical and staff support for local coordinating councils.
Offices located in Prince George and Petersburg, Virginia, serving Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, Prince George, Dinwiddie and southern Chesterfield.
