For more than 25 years, The Castillo Theatre has produced cutting-edge political theatre that challenges as it entertains. Castillo has staged over 120 productions by many of the world's leading political playwrights, often highlighting the theatrical works of retired Artistic Director Fred Newman and German avant-gardist Heiner Müller. Independent of government funding, Castillo produces developmental culture that builds and strengthens communities.
