Pony Power Therapies is looking for volunteers to assist in therapeutic horse-back riding lessons as lead walkers or side walkers for our Spring Semester! Lessons run Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 6 PM. Volunteers can choose from 1 to 3.5 hour long shifts. Our Spring Semester begins on March 5th and runs through to June 15th. (Only those with previous horse experience will be assigned as horse leader.)
We are also looking for volunteers to help out with our morning school groups. Schedule will be emailed with application.
Pony Power Therapies gives special needs and at-risk children and adults a unique opportunity to ride, care for and interact with horses. Our riding and non-riding activities enhance individuals' physical, social and emotional well-being in a safe, nurturing farm environment.
