Pick Corn at Greenawalt Farms in West Newton, PA 15089 from 9-11:30 am with other volunteers. All corn is loaded and transported back to our Delmont warehouse via our food bank truck. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Families are welcome.
Sign up to be on call for picking opportunities at local farms, picking corn, blueberries, apples, etc.
This is generally a day time activity and happens during the harvest seasons of any particular produce. July-October.

Description
The Westmoreland County Food Bank is a private, not-for profit organization that supplies food to hungry people through a network of assistance programs in Westmoreland County. Our 40,000 square foot facility is located in Delmont. We serve over 7,000 disadvantaged families each month through our network of 44 pantries and 20 agencies throughout Westmoreland County. We utilize approximately 6500 total volunteers a year to help us with our mission.
