ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross Pikes Peak Chapter

Purpose: Ensures effetive involement of volunteers by evaluating the chapter's human resources and their ability to respond to a large scale disaster. This includes coordinating disaster exercise training, reviewing the chapter's response to the Chapter Disaster Response and Readiness Assessement and reporting on the state of the chapter's human resources as it applies to small and large scale disasters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of a spontataneous volunteer management plan and implement during times of large scale disasters.
  • Review the chapter's disaster and spontaneous volunteer mangement plans.
  • In conjunction with local emergency management leaders, perpaer for any community disaster exercises, focusing primarily on the human resource aspect.

  • Other volunteer and employee staff members
