Purpose: Ensures the readiness of all DSHR members by reviewing and updating as necessary all application statements, Health Status Records and Personal Statements. This includes:

  • Verifying address and emergcey contact information is complete and up-to-date
  • Completion of background checks
  • Review restrictions (if any) and the date the restriction(s) put in place
  • Health Status Records have been reviewed by the chapter's Health Reviewer and hardship codes listed (if necessary)
  • Availability dates listed and updated (if necessary)
  • Contact any member whose file is not-up-to--date and update the files
  • Create a call down list to the Disaster Volunteer Management Team members to assist with deployment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and updating the indicative data for DSHR members
  • Set up a chapter call down list in preparation for DSHR member deployment
  • Update DSHR system in the event of deployment of DSHR members
