Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is searching for volunteers! The ReStore is a home-improvement store that sells donated building supplies. The benefits from the store are 3-fold: First, the profits from the store cover the administrative costs of Habitat for Humanity- MidOhio. Second, the ReStore recycles approximately 1,600 tons of waste each year. Finally, the ReStore benefits the community by providing new and used materials at a reasonable price.


POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

- Store Workers: Assist customers, stock shelves, etc.
- Pickup Helpers: Go out with our driver to pick up donations and bring them back to the store.
- Deconstruction Workers: Assist in removing usable materials from buildings that will soon be torn down.

HOURS:
- Anytime 9 AM - 6 PM Monday-Saturday

Description

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), and the Central Ohio Affiliate, is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat affiliates work locally in communities around the world to select and support homeowners, organize volunteers, and coordinate house building.

Supporting Habitat for Humanity - MidOhio is Habitat’s ReStore, a retail outlet that accepts and re-sells reusable home improvement materials to the general public. Revenue from sales directly offsets Habitat’s administrative costs and assists in both eliminating substandard housing and creating homeownership in Central Ohio.
