Volunteers at Wings of Hope offer safety and stability to an individual with disabilities during weekly therapeutic riding lessons.
Wings of Hope Equitherapy provides equine assisted services to children and adults with unique physical, mental, and emotional challenges.
Volunteers are the heart and back bone of our program!
Volunteers enable Wings to provide services to 60 individuals weekly.
During lessons skills gain skill and tools that can help manage life with a disability.
NO HORSE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
- At least 14 years old
- Physically able to walk for an hour over uneven ground
- Able to effectively communicate with clients, instructor, and other volunteers
- Commit to volunteer in the same lesson every week.
- No horse experience required

Thursdays lessons are 9:00, 10:30, 3:30, 5:00, and 6:30 . Choose one that works in your schedule

10:00 AM to 08:00 PM
There are 4 lessons 10:30, 3:30, 5;00, 6:30 on Mondays, you can pick one that works in your schedule

Tuesday lessons are 10:30, 3:30, 5:00, and 6:30. Choose one that works in your schedule

12:00 PM to 04:45 PM
Wednesdays lessons are 12:30, 2:00, and 3:30. Choose one that works in your schedule

Description
Wings of Hope provides equine-assisted services to children and adults with unique challenges.
Through the power of a horse, individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to work through challenges facing them in daily life. Learn tools to help them work through those challenges.
Wings of Hope serves 50+ individuals weekly, ranging in the age of 3-70+, with many different disabilities.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, without volunteers, we couldn't serve those in our community in need.
