Wings of Hope Equitherapy

Volunteers at Wings of Hope offer safety and stability to an individual with disabilities during weekly equine assisted activity lessons.

Wings of Hope Equitherapy provides equine assisted services to children and adults with unique physical, mental, and emotional challenges.

Volunteers are the heart and back bone of our program!
Volunteers enable Wings to provide services to 60 individuals weekly.
During lessons equestrians gain tools that can help manage life with a disability.


  • At least 14 years old
  • Physically able to walk for an hour over uneven ground
  • Able to effectively communicate with rider, instructor, and other volunteers
  • Commit to volunteer in the same lesson every week.
  • No horse experience required

It is the mission of Wings of Hope Equitherapy to provide equine assisted activities to children and adults with unique physical, mental, and emotional challenges. Core Purpose is to provide hope and healing with gentle horses and the love of God.


Wings of Hope provides equine assisted services to children and adults with unique challenges.
Through the power of a horse, individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to work through challenges facing them in daily life. Learn tools to helps them work through those challenges.
Wings of Hope serves 50+ individual weekly, ranging in the age of 3-90, with many difference disabilities.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, without volunteers we couldn't serve those in our community in need.
