Wellness therapies bring peace and healing

Be matched with an individual with cancer and provide weekly Reiki or Healing Touch sessions. Find the incredible meaning of bringing peace and healing to someone with cancer.

REMOTE SESSIONS:
We began remote sessions in 2020 because of COVID. They have been so popular that we have continued them. Last year LifeSpark providers served people with cancer in 20 states.

IN-PERSON SESSIONS:
We offer hands-on in-person sessions along the Colorado front range from Loveland to Colorado Springs. They occur in churches, wellness centers, and other businesses that offer free space for our program.

HOSPITAL SESSIONS:
LifeSpark also works out of several hospitals along the Colorado front range. You must meet certain requirements and go through screening and training at the respective hospital.

In order to qualify, you must 1) be trained at the level 2 Healing Touch or Second Degree Reiki or above, 2) have completed 50 full sessions on others, and 3) attend an online 18-hour Provider Seminar.

Description

LifeSpark provides Reiki and Healing Touch wellness therapies that promote peace and healing during and after cancer. We help people feel better while going through Cancer. In fact, nearly 80% of those receiving sessions in our program report that they feel significantly better physically and emotionally. 95% say that our therapies are valuable and they would refer others to us, and we have over 100 Reiki and Healing Touch volunteers.

At LifeSpark, we believe that a calm mind and a comfortable body can transform the cancer experience. Every day our care providers give gentle Reiki and Healing Touch sessions to individuals with cancer and their caregivers. We feel that everyone should experience for themselves the transformational benefits our program provides.

We provide sessions at four hospitals: UCHealth Anschutz Cancer Center, Denver Health Medical Center, UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital, and UCHealth Memorial Hospital. We also provide sessions at churches, spas and wellness centers. from Longmont to Colorado Springs.
