Franklin County Children Services helps abused and neglected children and their families. Services are provided to strengthen the family and assist parents in meeting their responsibility to assure the well-being of their children. Thousands of children are helped...and yet, Children Services can't do it alone. Many children under the care of Children Services rely on volunteers/mentors to guide them through difficult times. Youngsters who have experienced abuse and neglect look forward to spending time and sharing activities with their special friends. These volunteers/mentors share time with the children they are matched with at least twice a month, doing fun things and helping the children feel good about themselves.
