Nursery Volunteers help WCA raise the hundreds of baby birds we receive during the busy months from about April through September.
All Nursery Volunteers start out by learning to do laundry, dishes, and cleaning enclosures. Once you learn to do those tasks, you can learn to clean and stock baskets, prepare diets, syringe feeding birds, weighing birds, and administering medications. However, all Nursery volunteers are expected to help with dishes, laundry, and cleaning enclosures.
