Help a Patient Live Every Moment - Become a Hospice Volunteer
77 people are interested
Hospice volunteers are a vital part of the care and compassion that UnityPoint Hospice provides to patients and their families. Hospice volunteers can provide different types of support, based on their interests, talents and abilities. Some volunteers work directly with patient care, providing much-needed respite breaks to family members, running errands, and lending emotional support and companionship. Other volunteers are called to the mission of hospice by assisting with fundraising efforts, special projects and clerical work that supports clinical services and patient care. Our volunteers are available for patients and families that are in their personal homes, nursing facilities or at Taylor House (our inpatient hospice home).
