No foreign language or teaching experience required, only a sense of humor and patience! Because of your help, learners find new jobs, enter educational programs, start reading to their children and gain the confidence.

Believing that literacy is the foundation for a sustainable community, Washtenaw Literacy provides literacy support free of charge to adults through a network of trained tutors.

Description

Washtenaw Literacy is dedicated to promoting adult literacy in Washtenaw County. We provide free one-on-one and group instruction for adults who wish to improve their reading and writing, and to learn English.
