The FriendShop, run by the Friends of The Seattle Public Library, is located in the stunning Seattle Central Public Library on Level 3 in downtown Seattle. Everyday thousands of people visit the library and many visit the shop. The FriendShop is looking for volunteers who can greet customers, provide a tour of the shop and assist customers through sales and service. The FriendShop is staffed mostly by volunteers who in addition to assisting customers, cashier, stock shelves and set-up or tear-down displays each day. Shifts are approximately 3 hours long and do require standing for periods of time although chairs are available for breaks. We also have an event location in Georgetown.
