Make an exciting difference in the future of Northwestern Ohio area students by teaching them economic success skills! You can inspire young people to experience the realities and opportunities of the new global marketplace through Junior Achievement (JA). This nonprofit leader in providing innovative financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship education needs volunteers to take career- and life-skills mentoring into K-12 classrooms in the Northwestern Ohio area.

Description

Junior Achievement brings together local businesses and area K-12 students to offer learning experiences based on a foundation of financial literacy, entre(intra)preneurship, and career readiness. A robust, standards based curriculum allows volunteers to incorporate their personal life experiences while building on core knowledge to enhance students learning to become productive members of society.

Volunteers are the backbone of Junior Achievement---they are mentors, role models and leaders who help students grow into tomorrow's success stories! Junior Achievement strives to ensure every student who graduates has an understanding of the options available to them and they see a path they would like to take to create a meaningful life for themselves.

Junior Achievement offers both in-person or virtual learning experiences.
