RSVP Access To Services Advocate

Help older adults better understand and access a variety of local, state and federal benefits, programs and services that are available to them. Make informal community presentations, answer specific questions and/or provide guidance in order to increase awareness of the basic programs and services available. Responsibilities:
- Travel to specified locations (senior centers, senior residences or organization locations) to provide presentations and/or guidance.
- Handle general administrative tasks connected to presentations and reporting volunteer hours and outreach.
- Distribute appropriate information and brochures to clients and consumers.
- Maintain strict confidentiality standards.

RSVP Volunteers will provide outreach, education and support around issues that are vital to helping older adults maintain healthy, independent lifestyles
