Become a Literacy Tutor! Help English-speaking and non-English-speaking adults, 18 years of age or older learn to read, improve or learn to speak, understand, read, and write in English, improve math skills, or prepare for exams (such as GED or Citizenship) to meet their life goals.
Due to Coronavirus concerns, we are suspending tutoring at the library for the foreseeable future. When we resume in-building tutoring, we would love your help! Take care and we look forward to seeing you soon!

We train community volunteers to provide tutoring assistance to adults who need to improve their basic literacy skills to meet personal and career goals that enhance and enrich the quality of their lives as family members, adults in the workforce, and as citizens in their communities.
Description
Project READ offers volunteers an opportunity to provide one-to-one literacy tutoring to other adults in the commnity in the areas of reading, English as a second language, math, GED preparation, life skills, and citizenship preparation.
