Future Basektball All-Star

Share your love of basketball by coaching in the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley Jr. Suns Youth Basketball League at the Sands Branch in Glendale, AZ.

BGCAZ Basketball League Divisions:

  • Rookies - Youth grades 3rd - 5th
  • Cadets - Tweens grades 6th-8th

Commitment:

  • March - April
  • Two weekly practices (T & TH 6-6:45 pm) at the Sands Branch
  • One weekly game (Sat mornings, start times vary between 8:30 am - 10 am)
  • Sands Branch games played at the Rosenzweig Branch Gym @ 2242 W. Missouri Ave. Phoenix 85005

Prior coaching experience not required.

Competitive playing experience required.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) provides premier out-of-school-time programs for youth to develop their skills and resilience to successfully navigate childhood, and prepare for adulthood. We offer affordable after-school and summer programs for 16,000 young people in grades K-12. At 26 clubs across Maricopa County and into Pinal County, BGCAZ provides award-winning programs designed to change the lives of young people in four key areas: Academic Success, Be Great, Do Good, Healthy Choice, and workforce development - AZ YouthForce.
