I CARE: Are you Looking for volunteer work with flexible scheduling? DeKalb County senior citizens need volunteer drivers to take them to their doctor's appointments. As a volunteer, you will use your own vehicle and tell the scheduler when, where, and how often you wish to drive. I CARE will work around your schedule.

Volunteers can drive once a month, once a week, or how ever often the volunteer desires. A typical trip consists of: I CARE Scheduling a ride with Volunteer and Senior, Volunteer picks up senior at his/her residence, drives to Doctor's office & waits for appointment completion, and drives senior back to residence.

As a Volunteer Driver for I CARE, You will provide transportation for someone in need, and, just as importantly, provide caring companionship for a senior citizen.

Our volunteer needs are during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Georgia law protects our volunteers from civil liability, and we carry additional volunteer insurance. A background check is required.
