Would you like to make a difference in someone's life? Consider donating a little of your time to helping out at a Memory Café. Memory Cafes are a welcoming place for people with forgetfulness or other memory changes and their families and friends to gather. Cafes are a place to find others that understand what one is going through, to find support and discover strengths and not limitations associated with memory loss, as well as enjoying companionship. Activities at the café vary, ranging from artists, to music to craft projects.
Aseracare Hospice is seeking volunteers who are willing to offer assistance with a Memory Café in the area. These cafes meet monthly and training will be provided.
