Your Professional Expertise Can Help Reduce Homelessness in Chicago

With a lens of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, The Boulevard is recruiting candidates for our active Board of Directors. The Boulevard addresses the challenges faced by homeless adults with nowhere to recuperate upon hospital discharge.

Founded in 1994, The Boulevard helps individuals to complete their medical recovery and to address the root causes of their homelessness. At its 64 bed facility located on Chicago’s west side, we provide medical respite care, behavioral health, linkage to housing and workforce development services with an ultimate goal of stabilizing the health and well-being of our residents and clients. Through our various programs, and post supportive services, we follow our clients to the next level of planning to ensure their ongoing success.

We are particularly seeking Board candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Development
• Affordable Housing
• Real Estate
• Strategic Planning
• Marketing &Public Relations

The Boulevard’s Board meetings are held every other month, generally at our location in the Loop or via Zoom. For consideration, please send your resume, and you will be contacted by a member of our Board Membership Committee.
