Volunteer Abroad in Mombasa Kenya: Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer Abroad in Mombasa Kenya: The African coast is a magical place with a long and striking history, its calm blue waters the traditional route of the Arabian Spice Trade. Along the coast visitors discover Arab and Portuguese forts, Old Towns and ruins of Swahili outposts that tell of the fascinating history of this area.

Mombasa is a lively port city, an island connected to the mainland by bridges and ferries. The true heart of the city is the exotic old town made up of narrow winding streets, open markets, and Arab architecture. Mombasa is a place steeped in history, where life has continued unhurried and unchanged for more than 900 years.

The second largest city in Kenya, Mombasa has its own airport called the Moi International Airport. Volunteers should book their flights directly to Mombasa, where our project director will meet them.

We offer programs supporting children, education, HIV/Aids prevention and education, and outreach healthcare projects in Mombasa. With our volunteer program we allow you to discover the wonders of East Africa, while doing meaningful and rewarding community work. This is a great opportunity to explore life in coastal Africa, live and work amongst the locals and realize one person can make a difference.
