Help Provide Hope for a Brighter Tomorrow!

Join the Community Enrichment Center in providing affordable middle to high-end home decor, adult and children's clothing, shoes and accessories, along with kitchen items, books, games and other media, unique items and antiques to our community. The proceeds from Second Glance are funneled back into the CEC to help us continue serving our community and transforming lives by restoring hope.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Monday-Saturday, 9:30AM-1:30PM or 1:30PM-5:30PM, Sunday, 12PM-4:30PM

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and sort through new donations
  • Prepare and price items for the sales floor
  • Sort and hang clothing
  • Provide uplifting and hopeful service to all customers
  • Assist in various tasks such as organizing the back of house and sweeping.

Requirements:

  • Wear closed toed shoes
  • Willingness to follow site guidelines, procedures, and directions from our Thrift Store Manager

Description

The CEC is a faith based non-profit organization that provides services to assist and empower victims of family violence, homeless and low-income families and seniors across Tarrant County. We do this through offering food and basic necessities in our food pantry, free GED classes, employment certification and training, employment coaching, affordable and transitional housing, and financial coaching.
