Volunteers are needed to help provide a meal to homebound seniors in your area of the Cape and Islands. Volunteers will pick up meals at the neighborhood meal site and deliver to the consumer. Staff will provide training in confidentiality and sensitivity to senior issues.

Mission Statement

Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands was founded in 1972 as a community based, private non profit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare, enhancing the quality of life and maintaining the dignity of older citizens in the 22 towns of Barnstable, Nantucket, & Dukes counties.

Description

Both the state and federal government have designated Elder Services to be the primary link on the Cape and Islands to ACCESS, SERVICE, and ADVOCACY for elders.

Elder Services relies on over a thousand volunteers to assist us in our many programs of community service.
Volunteers will play an ever increasing role in helping us meet the growing challenges of our mission.
