10 people are interested
We are looking for people interested in volunteering with our organization who have a reasonable amount of cooking skills. Volunteers should have an interest in working with the elderly and disabled. Our program assists clients 60+ of age who need help in their homes or with transportation. We also assist clients 18+ who are permanently or temporarily disabled. We currently have a need for companions who can also offer meal preparation for clients. Volunteers should have availability through the summer into the fall. If interested please email steffi.tornow@ahelpinghandnc.org for more information and instructions on how to apply for a companion position.
