We are only open Monday-Friday, 9AM-4PM. Times vary, based on need. This is for permanent volunteers only. Not for people with limited hours or needing community service time. If you are interested in community service hours or short term volunteering, please call the Food Bank, (602) 867-9228, to find out current available hours.

We prepare food boxes using a list of items which varies for different size families. These boxes are then provided to the clients who have called for an appointment to come in for assistance. These boxes may weigh 25 to 30 pounds. This position will require moderate physical strength. Please tell us about yourself and your previous volunteer experience.

Mission Statement

To provide emergency food assistance to residents of the Paradise Valley Unified School District.

PVEFB stands for Paradise Valley Emergency Food Bank. It is a food pantry formed from existing organizations in the Paradise Valley area to aid the community's hungry.

The PVEFB's main objective is to provide emergency assistance to individuals living within the boundaries of the Paradise Valley Unified School District. PVEFB distributes food to families that would otherwise go hungry. The emergency provisions provide wholesome, nourishing meals to families in need. They bridge the gap until a long-term solution can be arranged.

We'll work with your schedule.
