Patient Companion volunteer staff at Hospice of Central Ohio provide companionship and support services to the patient and the patient caregiver within the limits of care. Patients, their caregivers, and their families receive both physical and emotional support through a volunteer's regular visits, empathetic listening, respite care, reading, and companionship.
