A hospice volunteer can provide support to patients and their families in many different ways... Volunteers can be are the bedside...doing such things as reading,praying,holding hands ...... sharing a story...watching TV etc...our volunteers can provide respite (time away) for family members...they can provide office support ....filing, computor work...data entry etc....They cook, crochet , deliver holiday meals, sew and much more....

Hospice exits in the hope and belief that through appropriate care; and the promation of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patients and their familes may be free to attain a degreee of mental, social, physical and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them.
