Visit with Hospice Patients

We are looking for volunteers to provide companionship and socialization to our patients on Hospice. Hospice patients are in the final days (weeks or months) of their life and would benefit greatly from someone compassionate & caring. You can expect our patients to enjoy sitting and talking with you or maybe just sit and watch TV or a movie together. You could also read a book outloud, write a letter or simply sit and listen to them as they reminisce about their life. All volunteers must complete a hospice training course, have an up to date TB test, drug screening and criminal background check (which we provide at no charge to you). Our patients are located throughout Orange County and reside either in their own home, a board and care facility, skilled nursing facility or assisted living....where ever they call home. if interested in this opportunity, please contact me through this website.
