If you prefer to work behind the scenes, OBI has the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteers are needed to help label empty blood bags for mobile blood drives. We have a lively group of volunteers who meet once a week to complete the blood bag numbering project. Blood donations cannot happen without the bags; therefore, this is a critical volunteer role which allows OBI’s lifesaving mission to be successful.

Task: Label empty blood bags according to Donor Services' Standard Operating Procedure for use system-wide; properly record and document donor identification numbers on a numbering bag log.

Requirements: Ability to sit for a minimum of 4 hours in a comfortable setting, good vision and finger dexterity, professional appearance.
