If you like to have fun with others and work in a great environment with friendly people, then you might want to consider helping out in our Cafe as a server. Surrey Services provides a freshly prepared, low cost lunch to 50 - 60 seniors daily. Lunch is served Monday through Friday. For some it is the only hot meal of the day. As part of our service, we are looking for a volunteer who could help us with serving meals. Shifts generally start at 11:30 am and are flexible.

    Training provided. No previous experience needed. M-F

Surrey brings people and resources together, creating a vibrant community of older adults. We offer programs and services that help older adults remain safe and engaged in our community including:

  • Activities, exercise, clubs, lunch, and lectures at any Surrey center - Devon, Broomall, Havertown, or Media.
  • Nutritious meals available in-person or Grab and Go Monday-Friday at Devon, Havertown, and Media and Tuesday and Thursday in Broomall.
  • Transportation services, fee-based and free, provided by volunteers, Surrey Drivers and through partnerships with ROVER (Chester County) and DELGO Community Transit (Delaware County)
  • Home care services including RN Care Management for help with medication management and care; personal care for help bathing and dressing; and Personal Finance Management for help with bills, insurance claims, and long-term care policies.
  • Opportunities to downsize and consign with the Surrey Consignment Shop.
  • Free instruction, support, and hands-on training for family caregivers and aspiring caregivers at The Surrey Academy.
