ORGANIZATION: AUSTIN FOUNDATION

Join The Austin Foundation as we volunteer at Tigers Stadium and help run concession stands during games! This is a fun and fast-paced opportunity to be part of the game-day excitement while giving back to the community. Volunteers will assist with food and beverage service, customer support, and maintaining a clean and friendly environment.

No prior experience is necessary we’ll provide all the training you need. This is a great way to earn service hours, meet new people, and support the Austin Foundation’s mission to empower youth and promote wellness in our community.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or older

  • Must complete a ServSafe alcohol certification (we’ll help guide you through the process)

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Description

The Austin Foundation offers two key programs that support high school students in their personal and professional development. Becoming Young Adults is designed for seniors and focuses on equipping them with essential life skills through pillars such as financial wellness, mental health and wellness, adulting and general life skills, and interpersonal skills. This program helps students confidently transition into adulthood.
Meanwhile, NextGen: Digital Literacy Program targets freshmen and sophomores, providing foundational digital skills critical in today’s tech-driven world. It covers topics like digital citizenship and social media, productivity tools, effective digital communication, tech career exploration, and online safety. Together, these programs prepare students for success both in life and in the modern workforce.
