Mission Statement

To celebrate the diversity within the Atlanta area while elevating and supporting underrepresented minority communities.

Description

Host large scale International Night Markets that draw tens of thousands of people over a weekend. The events are a platform to educate the community about the different cultures within it - there are cultural performances and food/retail vendors representing regions around the world. We also support cultural performers by inviting them to perform and compensating them for their art. Finally, the events support small businesses - the fees are kept very low to be inclusive and we also coach startups on how to vend at an event. Many of our vendors are new or first time vendors who find other events too intimidating or expensive.

Funds we raise are used by our Foundation to support causes that align with our mission. We have supported groups digging wells for fresh water in Vietnam and providing medicines, the Clarkston Community Center who works with new immigrants and refugees, and are in the process of building a leadership program focused on communities that the incumbent programs overlook.
