We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to lead either a Life/Leadership Skills (cursive writing, financial literacy, etc.), Art, or Theater for 50 minutes. Programming is from 07/21/25-08/01/25, and the class would need to be facilitated from 11:00am-11:50am. Monday-Friday. Each instructor will be responsible for facilitating a fun, structured, and impactful learning experience for youth ages 8-18 (youth will be divided into age groups).

Key Responsibilities:

-Facilitate 50 minute sessions using pre-developed lesson plans and provided supplies. (Facilitation is based upon your availability!)

-Work collaboratively will the Teacher's Assistant, effectively delegating tasks and ensuring youth receive adequate support.

-Monitor youth participation, behavior, and safety throughout the session.

-Provide brief feedback or notes at the end of session if needed.

Qualifications:

-Experience working with youth in a community, educational, or artistic setting (Life Skills, Visual Arts, or Theater).

-Classroom management and communication skills.

-Ability to follow structured lesson plan, while adapting to youth needs and energy.

-Punctual, and enthusiastic about empowering youth.

Since 2017, G.O.A.L.S. Inc. has provided supplemental educational programming in the form of After-school and Summer Programs to youth ages 8-18 in the Chicagoland area. providing Life/Leadership Skills, Culinary Arts, Music, Art, and Theater. Our goal is to help close the academic, cultural, and social gaps of the youth we service in comparison to their counterparts. G.O.A.L.S. Inc. has been recognized by Congressman Danny K. Davis of the Illinois 7th Congressional District for its services.
