Role Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and community-minded Event/Tabling Volunteers to represent SelfSoulLiberate at various events, health fairs, and community gatherings in Dallas, Texas. This volunteer position is crucial in raising awareness about our mission, engaging with the public, distributing educational materials, and promoting our wellness initiatives. You will be a direct point of contact for individuals interested in learning more about mental health equity and how SelfSoulLiberate is making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and staff SelfSoulLiberate information tables at designated events.
- Engage with attendees in a friendly and informative manner, answering questions about our organization and mission.
- Distribute brochures, flyers, and other educational materials.
- Collect sign-ups for newsletters, workshops, and volunteer opportunities.
- Represent SelfSoulLiberate professionally and positively at all times.
- Provide feedback from events to the SelfSoulLiberate team to improve outreach efforts.
- Assist with event breakdown and material organization as needed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and approachable demeanor.
- Passion for mental health advocacy and community wellness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people.
- Knowledge of Dallas, TX, and its communities is a plus.
