Description
Ngong Hills Volunteers is a registered nonprofit organization based in Kenya, committed to fostering sustainable development and community empowerment through volunteer service. Our core goal is to address key social challenges while providing volunteers with meaningful, culturally enriching experiences.
We operate across seven impactful program areas:
Education: Supporting schools with teaching assistance, resource provision, and infrastructure improvements.
Healthcare: Assisting in medical camps, clinics, and health education initiatives in underserved communities.
Environmental Conservation: Engaging in tree planting, clean-up drives, wildlife protection, and sustainability education.
Women and Children Empowerment: Promoting gender equality, skills training, mentorship, and support for vulnerable groups.
Sports Coaching: Using sports to build life skills, teamwork, and confidence among youth.
Animal Welfare: Volunteering at shelters and conservation centers to protect domestic and wild animals.
Special Needs Education: Assisting in institutions that support children with disabilities through care, teaching, and therapy.
Our programs also integrate Kenya’s rich travel offerings, including safaris, hiking, and coastal tourism, giving volunteers a unique opportunity to explore the country while making a difference.
