Detailed Description:

Be a part of Charleston's largest new community celebration! Ballersworld Global Foundation is seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers for the inaugural Latin Field Day, a free family festival designed to unite our community through fun, culture, and connection.

This is more than just an event; it's a mission to provide a positive, inclusive, and resource-rich day for hundreds of local families. We have an incredible coalition of partners, including our title sponsor Figueroa Law Firm, the Charleston Battery, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, and the Charleston Hispanic Association.

Volunteers are the heart of this festival. You will be on the front lines, helping us create a joyful and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests. This is a perfect opportunity for corporate teams, community groups, or individuals looking to make a direct, positive impact.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities:

We have a variety of fun and engaging roles available. Volunteers will be assigned to a zone based on interest and event needs.

• Welcome Team: Greet guests, answer questions, and be a friendly first impression of the event.

• Game Zone Captain: Help manage classic field day games like sack races, tug-of-war, and our main obstacle course. High-energy and fun!

• Activity Support: Assist our partners (like the Charleston Battery and Bilu Soccer) with their interactive game stations.

• Community Hub Support: Assist the Charleston Hispanic Association with their Mercado Comunitario (free produce market) or help at the Community Art Wall.

• Media & Content Support: Work alongside our professional videography team to capture the day! Help take photos and short video clips for our social media channels, assist with guest interviews, and ensure we don't miss a single great moment.

• Logistics & Flex Team: A crucial role helping with setup, breakdown, and providing support wherever it's needed most throughout the day.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old (or accompanied by an adult).

• A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude is a must!

• Ability to be on your feet for periods of time.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteers are highly encouraged, but not required.

• Experience with photography or videography is a plus, but not required. A good eye and a smartphone are all you need for some roles!
