Summary of position: The Kits Programs volunteer will work alongside the Director of Kits Programs to manage the Kits for Kids inventory and preparation for events . The Warehouse V olunteer will help inventory and order supplies, conduct quality assurance on completed kits , and p repare event items for Kits for Kids events . Th is role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professionalism . Ability to lift 20lbs and stand for 3 hours required .

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage kits’ supplies inventory and procure .
  • Order supplies as necessary.
  • Prepare inventory and event supplies for Kits for Kids events.
  • May supervise kits programs ’ volunteers.
  • Ensure all incoming kits are quality checked , inventoried, and prepared for shipping.
  • Provide support to the Kits Director in various tasks and projects.
  • Follow warehouse safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and people skills .
  • C omfort able standing for multiple hours and lifting 20lbs.
  • Basic knowledge of computer and email technology.
  • Willingness and ability to train volunteers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential .
