Summary of position: The Lead CURE Kits Volunteer will work alongside the Director of Kits Programs based in Centennial, CO, to prepare and ship CURE kits locally. CURE kits are ~45lb bags filled with medical supplies that individuals can purchase to bring on their medical mission trips. The Lead CURE Kits Volunteer will helpoversee additional volunteers who assist with inventorying supplies, packing CURE Kits, andfacilitating the shipment of kits. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professionalism. Optional domestic travel opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Train and supervise volunteers who provide support for the CURE kits program.
  • Support and lead tabling efforts at regional conferences.
  • Maintain inventory and validateexpirationdatesof items needed to pack CURE kits locally.
  • Pack CURE kits and maintain inventory of prepared kits.
  • Facilitate the pickup or shipment of CURE Kits for orders.
  • Provide support to the Director of Kits Programs in various tasks and projects.
  • Follow warehouse safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Medical background or familiarity with medical supplies preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of computer and email technology.
  • Willingness and ability to train volunteers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
