Cat and Kitten Fosters Needed
ORGANIZATION: CATS PAWJAMAS RESCUE SOCIETY
Please visit the new page to apply.

Cats Pawjamas is a small cat and kitten rescue. Our mission is to rescue kittens at risk of euthanasia, homelessness and suffering due to illness or injury.
Do you want to get your kitten fix without having to add to your cat family?
Are the kids bugging for a new pet and ready to help with socializing kittens?
Are you interested in saving kittens?
The fosters must be located in Kansas due to Kansas Department of Agriculture rules. It is preferred that they are located within 5 miles of Olathe.
We have 2 foster roles to fill:
- Fostering a mom and her 5 babies. If all goes as expected, this is an easy one. Mom does most of the work and your job is to hold and play with the babies.
- We need a relief foster. This foster would take a group of cats and/or kittens short-term to cover for a foster going on vacation, medical leave, etc
Cats Pawjamas provides food, medical and other supplies with the exception of litter.

Mission Statement
Rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens facing euthanasia, illness or injury.
Description
Cats Pawjamas is a small, 501(c)3, all volunteer, foster-based cat and kitten rescue.
Almost all of these cats and kittens require medical intervention prior to adoption. We prepare these cats and kittens, both physically and mentally, to be adopted into loving homes.
We "opened our doors in May of 2020". We found homes for almost 50 cats the first year and have been growing steadily. We are on target to find homes for about 130 cats and kittens in 2023.
We do not have a "Brick and Mortar" facility. Our cats and kittens are healed and raised by one of about 6 families. More than half of our admissions are transferred from an open admission shelter where they receive very little medical care and are at risk of euthanasia.
