Champion Healing for Justice-Impacted Individuals
Time Commitment: ~2-4 hours/month | Remote | Quarterly Board Meetings
We Are Beautiful Inc. is a nonprofit organization on a mission to champion healing for justice-impacted individuals by providing trauma-informed mental health resources, support groups, and tools for reentry.
This board role supports the development of trauma-informed resources and programming for people navigating life after incarceration. You’ll provide insight on barriers to healing, help shape content in our Reentry Resource Packet and Support Group Workbook, and connect us to relevant networks and organizations that align with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer strategic input on reentry topics and healing themes
Suggest content that addresses shame, identity rebuilding, or family dynamics
Recommend speakers, advocates, or organizations
Participate in quarterly board meetings and contribute ideas for growth
Ideal for: Formerly incarcerated individuals, famil reentry professionals, legal advocates, public defenders, or or family members of those impacted by incarceration.

We create trauma-informed resources like our Reentry Resource Packet and Support Group Workbook to help justice-impacted individuals and their loved ones heal, grow, and thrive. Our work centers dignity, emotional wellness, and second chances - and we welcome volunteers who are passionate about mental health, equity, and reentry support.
