CPKC WOMEN'S OPEN

The CPKC Women's Open is an international women's professional golf tournament that attracts professional golfers from all over the world. Conducted by Golf Canada, the CPKC Women's Open has been Canada's national championship since it's founding in 1973 and is an official event on the LPGA Tour.

Description

50/50 Sales

Sell raffle tickets across the course using handheld devices to support junior golf initiatives. Comfort with technology and outgoing personality required.

Admissions & Spectator Services

Support entry points, will call, bag check, and assist spectators with accessibility and general questions.

Ambassadors

Be a friendly face on-site, guiding guests and answering questions to enhance their experience.

Broadcast Support

Assist Golf Channel with spotting and driving support staff during coverage. Training provided.

Caddie Services

Distribute and organize caddie bibs, towels, and yardage books. Early mornings and evening shifts required.

Communications

Coordinate radios, answer phones, and relay messages to support tournament operations.

Corporate Hospitality

Welcome guests in premium areas, scan tickets, manage wristbands, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Golf Carts & Evacuation

Manage golf cart use and assist with evacuations in case of inclement weather. Some driving required.

Grounds & Course

Keep the course tidy and stocked with water for players and officials. Physical stamina required.

Marshals

Work on-course to manage spectator etiquette, spot balls, and help maintain pace of play.

Operations Support

Assist with setup, signage, ropes, and general on-site needs before, during, and after the event.

Shuttles

Drive or coordinate accessible shuttles for spectators and volunteers. Valid driver’s licence required.

Player Services

Assist players with registration, locker room access, and hospitality inquiries. Background check required.

Player Transportation

Drive players and officials between the airport, hotels, and course. Requires background check and clean driver’s abstract.

Practice Facility

Organize and manage range access and supplies for players and caddies.

Pro-Am & Special Events

Help run the Pro-Am and special events, including check-ins and gift distribution.

Scoring Control

Support official scoring and statistics in a seated, tech-focused role using radios and software.

Standard Bearers

Walk 18 holes carrying score signs for each group. Golf knowledge and stamina are a must.

Volunteer Security

Monitor access to restricted areas and ensure proper credentials are displayed.

Volunteer Services

Support volunteer check-in, uniforms, and overall experience throughout the event.

Walking Scorers

Walk with players during rounds to track scores and stats using LPGA’s handheld tech. Golf knowledge essential.

  • Volunteers are required to work minimum of four (4) shifts (one per day). Shifts may vary per committee but are typically 4-6 hours long.
