Carpe Librum will be popping up in Georgetown for fundraising book sales through 2025: Sundays, March 2, April 6 and 28, May 4, June 1, July 6, August 3, September 7, October 5, 18, 19 November 2 and December 7! (With special Saturdays on April 26 and October 18). We will need volunteers to help us set up in the morning and box up in the afternoon This is a great opportunity to spend an hour or two supporting literacy and positive educational outcomes in the DC public school students.
Can you lend a hand?
The first shift is from 8:45am-9:30am, helping to set up the tables and shelve books according to category.
The 2nd shift is from 4pm-5:15pm, helping to pack up books.

We connect parents and other caring family members with teachers, school administrators, and communities to ensure that all students, regardless of income or home neighborhood, are fully supported in their education.
Description
Since 1998, Turning the Page has become a leader in family engagement, providing thousands of families with the supports, skills, and resources they need to best support their children's learning at home and at school, form positive relationships with their children's teachers, and become leaders in their school communities. Turning the Page currently partners with schools in Ward 7 and Ward 8 of Washington, DC.
