Special Olympics Pomona Bowling Competition

ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics Southern California

Make a difference by supporting and encouraging athletes!

As a volunteer, you'll support the event by supervising one of the bowling lanes. Volunteer duties include: making sure bowlers have the necessary equipment, matching the name on the computer monitor with the correct athlete, helping athletes to their lane, knowing where athletes are at all times, letting your Lane Supervisor know about any scoring errors, submitting the scores for your lane, and awarding the athletes their medals and ribbons.

Attire: Closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing. This project takes place indoors.

Physical Requirements: This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations.

  • Sat Jul 19, 2025 - 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST - Spots available: 10+
    Lane Monitors will be assigned a lane to supervise. You will be managing athletes during their games and recording final scores for awards.
  • Sat Jul 19, 2025 - 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM PST - Spots available: 10+
    Assist lane monitors as needed: track down supervisors, quickly respond to concerns or disruptions, report any issues, maintain safe environment.
