We are expanding our development team and seeking three skilled, committed Grant Writers who are passionate about making a global impact through their work.
This is a volunteer position with a clear pathway to a paid contract role contingent upon grant funding success.

Position Summary:
As a Grant Writer, you will play a critical role in helping BluShues Inc. secure vital funding by researching grant opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, managing deadlines, and collaborating with leadership to articulate funding needs. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of initiative, independence, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
* Grant Prospect Research: Identify and qualify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, faith-based organizations, and government agencies.
* Proposal Development: Draft, edit, and finalize high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation tailored to funder requirements.
* Reporting: Prepare interim and final grant reports as required by funders.
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments to gather program data, budgets, narratives, and supporting materials.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain a detailed grant calendar and database, tracking submission deadlines, award notices, reporting obligations, and next steps.
* Compliance: Ensure all grant activities meet funder guidelines, reporting standards, and organizational policies.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
2. Exceptional research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
3. Demonstrated success in securing grant funding (preferred, but if not, strong writing samples and references required).
4. Ability to analyze funding opportunities and align them with organizational priorities.
5. Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote team.

BluShues, Inc. primarily accomplishes this purpose by providing new, full-size, free Bibles to individuals and organizations. Providing free Bibles provides ministry, education, and literary resources to those in need (the poor, distressed, and underprivileged) and to those who are curious about God or Bible.
