Recruiting Organization: Heartland Hospice of Dayton

Today is a great day to bring a smile to those who really need it! That is why Heartland Hospice is looking for compassionate people to join our volunteer team to become a friendly volunteer.

As a friendly volunteer, you will be connected to one of our wonderful patients in YOUR area to visit and provide companionship in their home or facility. Some ways you can do that is:

Holding their hand

Share a story

Listen to their story

Read a book, newspaper, magazine

Singing

Doing small crafts or puzzles

Phone calls to say hello

Phone calls for reminders

and so much more

We are very understanding and flexible with your schedule. You can visit once a week, twice a month or whatever works best for you.

There is no experience needed. We will provide all the training you need at no cost to you.
