Direct Contact Leaders
All leaders must be at least 21 years or older. The Direct Contact Leaders will oversee the operation of specific age levels patrols within the troop by providing direction, coaching and support. Direct Contact Leaders will assist or advise various activities including, but not limited to, assisting / advising community based service projects, completing Trail work in handbooks, supervising outdoors events, assisting with field trips, and other workshops. The end result will foster a youth directed program with the assistance of the Direct Contact Adult Leaders.

Description
We are a local non-denominational Christian Ministry, in the Auburn Gresham community on the southside of Chicago. In 2021, we chartered two scouting programs for girls and boys in the community to learn character development, leadership, outdoor adventure, and to have fun while doing so.
Each program has a gender specific emphasis to meet the child's unique need in a biblically baaed structure, to demonstrate how each child could change to the world around them.
Our goal is to expose the children to educational and outdoor activities which would spark interest in STEM progects, Medical, Legal, Community Development, and other areas where future leadership opportunities will exist.
