At My Family’s Table, we believe that no one should go hungry or feel alone in their struggle. Our work centers around feeding families and individuals in need-offering nutritious meals, food education, and a sense of dignity and belonging in the Rogers Park community of Chicago.

We’re looking for compassionate and creative volunteers to help us grow. If you have a heart for community, a gift for connection, and a desire to make a tangible impact, we need you.

This volunteer role focuses on recruiting new volunteers and building connections with local businesses and supporters who can help sustain our mission. Your voice, your passion, and your networks can help us expand our reach and continue feeding more families each week.

• Spread the word about our mission through heartfelt outreach to your network and local businesses

• Help design and carry out volunteer recruitment campaigns that inspire others to get involved

• Collaborate with our team to create meaningful, mission-focused content

• Attend one short team meeting each month (via Zoom or in person) to stay connected and aligned

• Be a dependable and uplifting presence in our small but mighty team

• You believe in the power of community and compassion

• You are reliable, communicative, and enjoy working with purpose

• You have creative ideas for connecting with others and inspiring action

• You’re comfortable reaching out to local businesses or personal contacts for support

• You’re available for occasional in-person or Zoom meetings (1 hour/month)

• You’ll be part of a mission-driven effort that feeds, educates, and uplifts

• You’ll help shape our outreach and expand our impact in tangible ways

• You’ll grow your skills in community engagement, nonprofit development, and storytelling

• You’ll leave every meeting knowing: your time made someone’s life better
